Sarodha Dam Promenade Upgrades and Enhanced Visitor Seating Completed

Beautification and infrastructure enhancement works along the primary embankment of Sarodha Dam have been completed, delivering a significantly improved experience for evening walkers, families, and sunset enthusiasts.

Key Upgrades

• Paved Lakeside Walkway: A dedicated 800-meter walking track has been leveled and surfaced with non-slip stone pavers, allowing comfortable foot traffic in all seasons.
• Shaded Viewing Gazebos: Three traditional stone-roofed gazebos (*chattris*) have been constructed at prime panoramic viewpoints, providing shelter from midday sun and resting spots for elder citizens.
• Eco-Friendly Solar Lighting: Low-glare, solar-powered lamp posts now illuminate the promenade after dusk without disrupting the nocturnal ecology of the reservoir.
• Waste Management & Bins: Segregated waste disposal bins and informational signage regarding water conservation and plastic-free zones have been positioned at regular intervals.

The improvements have already seen an enthusiastic response from local residents, who frequent the embankment for morning exercise and tranquil sunset gatherings.
